احمد عشیری مردی بود که به او «فرزند ایران» و «جانفدای میهن» میگفتند. او در دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ در دزفول و در جریان اعتراضات انقلاب شیر و خورشید کشته شد. عکسی از او در یک اعتراض شبانه، کمی پیش از مرگش، با جراحت و خونریزی چشم و سربند گلدار منتشر شده است. یاد او توسط مادران ایرانی گرامی داشته میشود.
